Description
The Park Vista hotel is a newly renovated DoubleTree brand hotel in Gatlinburg, TN featuring 300 accommodating guestrooms and suites. At The Park Vista, it is our nature to provide spacious guestrooms, each with a private balcony and stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains. You will fall in love with the sunrise, city lights and the mysterious “Blue Smoke” indigenous to our mountains.
As the Banquet and Culinary Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef across both hotel restaurant kitchens, with banquet/catering events, administrative duties, and stewardship operations.
Restaurant - 80 hours total
Banquets/Catering - 120 hours total
Administrative - 120 hours total
Stewardship - 24 hours total
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Read and understand English.
• Minimum 2 years cooking experience preferred (preferably high volume)
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
