Description
- Perform typical duties of Host, Server, and Server Assistant/Busser as required. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting guests and showing them to their seats
- Taking orders
- Delivering food and beverages
- Clearing tables
- Removing garbage
- Ensuring restaurant cleanliness
- Perform typical duties of Bartender (must be at least 21 years of age) and Barback as required. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Interacting with guests to suggestively sell beverage and menu items based on likes
- Preparing drinks and cocktails
- Recognizing when guests are becoming too intoxicate and refuse further service
- Ensuring bar and bar equipment is clean and fully stocked
- Be knowledgeable of menu and specials
- Participates in daily pre-shift meetings and conducts table visits.
- Performs opening and closing duties according to policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Currently working towards degree in hospitality, restaurant, culinary, business, or equivalent field preferred Experience · Previous experience in customer service, sales, and restaurant operations with POS check and cash handling experience helpful
· Previous food service, food preparation and/or bartending experience helpful Knowledge, Skills & Abilities · Must have outgoing personality
· Passion for the hospitality business and compassion for people
· Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms Licenses/Certifications · ABC Certification required
· Servsafe certification required
· Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record required
· This position requires a pre-employment drug screening.
