Description
SUMMARY
Duties include daily operation of organized activity program, special events, and guest trips.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and other duties may be
assigned.
Must be willing to work any day of the week including holidays.
Plan, prepare, participate, arrange & conduct adult and childrens Activities.
Prepare, participate, arrange and conduct special events.
Present to Activities Manager ideas for ongoing & special event activities.
Maintain contact with vendors, local entertainment establishments and suppliers
of activities related businesses.
Fill out daily log and tallies guest participation.
Handle money transactions and accounting procedures.
Sign guests up for activities
Take up tickets
Work with and handle food serving duties
Use of computer skills as needed.
Enforce safety rules and procedures with resort guests.
Perform other tasks related to activities Dept., including clerical/administrative duties.
Keep Activities areas neat and clean.
Maintain inventory of activities items as needed.
Enthusiasm, energy, drive, job devotion, and personal ambition.
Other duties as assigned by Management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of adult / children sports, games, activities, and entertainment. Ability to work well with
others, as well as independently.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to
write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group
situations to clients, and other team members of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to
perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and
distance.
REASONING ABILITIES
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or
diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized
situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current drivers license, CPR & First Aid
