Description
· Greeting guests and showing them to their seats
· Taking orders
· Delivering food and beverages
· Clearing tables
· Removing garbage
· Ensuring restaurant cleanliness
2. Perform typical duties of Bartender (must be at least 21 years of age) and Barback as required. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
· Interacting with guests to suggestively sell beverage and menu items based on likes
· Preparing drinks and cocktails
· Recognizing when guests are becoming too intoxicate and refuse further service
· Ensuring bar and bar equipment is clean and fully stocked
3. Be knowledgeable of menu and specials
4. Participates in daily pre-shift meetings and conducts table visits.
5. Performs opening and closing duties according to policy.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Currently working towards degree in hospitality, restaurant, culinary, business, or equivalent field preferred Experience · Previous experience in customer service, sales, and restaurant operations with POS check and cash handling experience helpful
· Previous food service, food preparation and/or bartending experience helpful Knowledge, Skills & Abilities · Must have outgoing personality
· Passion for the hospitality business and compassion for people
· Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms Licenses/Certifications · ABC Certification required
· Servsafe certification required
· Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record required
· This position requires a pre-employment drug screening.
