Students interested in the Restaurant/Hospitality industry will gain valuable, hands on experience in all aspects of a restaurant/hospitality management in a high volume, fast paced, casual restaurant working 35-45 hours per week. During your 14-week Management in Training/ Internship you will learn and work in the following areas: Kitchen operations & food prep, learning the Smoker, inventory management, customer relations, accounting, scheduling and deployment of employees, the interviewing and hiring process, front and back of house operations, marketing through social media, and health department rules and regulations. At the end of your Management in Training, you will be able to run the restaurant solo!
Qualifications
Full-time student interested in the hospitality and restaurant industry and enrolled in culinary arts, hospitality management or restaurant management. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and to understand processes and procedures. Willing to work with team members to insure the quality of food and customer service is second to none. Must be comfortable using food service equipment and be friendly and accommodating to our guests. This will be a fun way to learn how a successful business operates and to apply what you are learning in your degree program to real life experiences.
