- . Works with General Manager to gain understanding of overall restaurant business operations, to include, but not limited to: • Reviewing annual budgets as well as P&L oversight/management • Developing and projecting to implement a financial goal • Review systems in place for inventory/controls • Review entertainment programming 2. Shadow maintenance supervisor to ensure proper maintenance and repair of facility 3. Shadow front of house manager while interviewing, selection, and scheduling of staff to meet business and operational needs. 4. Shadow all restaurant opening and closing procedures. 5. Modeling excellent leadership principles and creating appropriate culture and character of the venue 6. Shadow Security Supervisor in duties related to managing overall event and venue security, to include, but not limited to: • Supervision of security personnel assigned to events and venue • Ensuring all incidents (safety and security) that occur on site are properly handles and reported to appropriate parties • Collaboration with local law enforcement and first responders when necessary 7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Currently working towards degree in hospitality, restaurant, culinary, business, or equivalent field preferred
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, and restaurant operations with POS check and cash handling experience helpful
• Previous food service, food preparation and bartending experience helpful
• Must have outgoing personality
• Passion for the hospitality business and compassion for people
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
• ABC Certification required
• Servsafe certification required
• Required valid CPR certification or attain certification within 90 days of start date
• Must have valid State of Tennessee Unarmed Security License or attain license in accordance with state law
• Must complete Crowd Management Training
• Must complete OSHA 10 Hour Training
• Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record required
• This position requires a pre-employment drug screening
• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for employment
