Job Description:

• The attractions and special events intern will be charged with creating and coordinating fun and memorable events for our guests. As part of a “can do” team, the intern will gain valuable experience in events planning, hospitality, sales, marketing, and tourism with a focus on amusements. At times, candidates will be asked to work without supervision, meaning that they must be able to work independently, be self motivated, and hold themselves to a high standard. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a rock star personality who is passionate about creating amazing guest experiences and meeting new people!

Duties:

• Coordinate special events like proposals, gender reveals, weddings, performance groups, and property wide events as assigned
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients before, during, and after events, maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Ride operations - operate our attractions with efficiency and courtesy, assisting guests with purchase questions, and entertaining guests waiting in long lines
• Park services - clean and maintain the property, entertain and welcome guests, interact with kids, take pictures, provide wayfinding information, and other activities to be decided by the intern
• Attend bi-monthly marketing meetings, and create a presentation at the conclusion of the program for our marketing and operations teams
• Represent the brand at off-site networking meetings and marketing events like lunches, conferences, city events, and youth sporting events
