Description
The Business Intelligence and Operations Analyst Intern is responsible for working with the Operations Management team in day-to-day aspects of park operation including, but not limited to Admissions and Attractions, support areas, the development/implementation of procedures, and continued evolution of the team. This is to be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and operating philosophies of the Dollywood Company.
- Provide support to designated Operations Managers and Supervisors in the form of analytical reporting and communication of findings.
- Develop and coordinate operating procedures within the Operations Management Team.
- Support operational audits to ensure compliance with Park and HFE Policies.
- Oversee and assist in the development and implementation of strategic and long range plans for the Operations Division.
- Serve as Operations Team PIC.
- Review and make recommendations to Operations Management on reporting procedures for revenue, expense, throughput, and other areas of focus.
- Interact and assist with other divisions as assigned.
- Evaluate and report on operational efficiencies to include successes and learnings in order to guide future decisions for improving operations.
- Assist with written communications within the Operations Division.
- Assist with creating and implementing improvements in safety, guest excellence, profit contribution and job satisfaction.
- Assist with team projects including surveys, appreciation events, team outings and company sponsored events.
- Complete at minimum one project benefiting at least one operational area as determined by Operations Management.
- Perform other duties as needed such as, but not limited to, Rides Host, Parking Host, assisting in corrective actions.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Must be currently enrolled in a Graduate Level Program at an accredited university.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 40 WPM.
- Basic computer skills with proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of personal liability insurance according to state law.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check including motor vehicle.
