NASCAR SpeedPark: PARC Pigeon Forge, LLC, a division of PARC Entertainment, LLC (“PARC”), owns and operates the NASCAR SpeedPark in Sevierville, Tennessee. As an officially licensed attraction of the National Association for Stock Car Racing (“NASCAR”), the park offers exciting side-by-side go-kart racing on eight tracks, together with amusement rides, miniature golf courses, bumper boats, an arcade, and other family-oriented entertainment. Job Purpose: Support daily Human Resources and Marketing operations while gaining hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, guest experience, and brand promotion. Assist HR and Marketing Leadership in maintaining organized, efficient, and guest-focused operations while developing leadership, communication, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Park-Wide Related Duties
- Support communication of operational needs and updates with Department Leadership and team members
- Participate in front-line operations and cross-department support during peak periods
- Contribute to staffing coverage and team support based on operational demands
Department-Specific Duties - Human Resources Functions
- Assist with recruiting and hiring processes, including attending recruiting events, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and preparing hiring materials
- Support onboarding processes, including paperwork completion and new hire communication
- Maintain employee records, I-9 forms, and organized filing systems
- Lead new hire orientation classes independently after training, presenting company policies, procedures, and culture expectations
- Prepare orientation materials, set up training spaces, and manage post-orientation processes
- Provide support to employees with daily needs such as uniforms, name tags, and general questions
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including events and celebrations
- Support J-1 international student onboarding, orientation, and communication
- Maintain inventory of HR and Marketing supplies and ensure organization and availability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional HR office and conference room
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, spreadsheets, and document tracking
Department-Specific Duties - Marketing & Guest Experience Functions
- Participate in brainstorming and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Assist with social media management, including content creation, posting, and guest engagement
- Conduct guest surveys and analyze feedback to support marketing strategies
- Act as a brand ambassador at events and partner locations
- Support guest communication via phone, email, and social media platforms
- Assist with special events, group bookings, and in-park promotions
- Gain insight into guest purchasing behavior by supporting Admissions during peak times
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews across platforms
Training & Development
- Cross-train in all indoor and outdoor park departments to gain a full understanding of operations
- Apply HR and Marketing knowledge in real-time by assisting across departments during peak operations
- Develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Gain exposure to leadership decision-making, employee relations, and brand strategy
- Participate in operational discussions, planning, and performance-based learning opportunities
Qualifications
SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Mission Driven – Demonstrated alignment with PARC’s vision, mission, and core values
- Relationships – Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and leadership
- Required Education – Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field
- Preferred Experience – Previous experience in customer service, marketing, or administrative environments preferred
- Certification/Licensure – Not required; willingness to learn internal systems and processes
- Training Requirements: Sexual Harassment and Leadership Boundaries and Professional Conduct training required to be completed with HR within 30 days, plus ongoing leadership training as requested
- Specific Vision Requirements – Color and peripheral vision, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
- Specific Hearing Requirements - Ability to hear, understand, and respond to verbal communication and workplace interactions, including meetings, team discussions, and guest communication, in a professional environment.
- Special Skills – Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills; professionalism with confidential information; adaptability; ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Stand and walk frequently throughout office and park environments
- Use hands and fingers to handle office materials, technology, and supplies; reach with hands and arms as needed

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Work in both indoor office settings and outdoor park environments, depending on assignments
- Maintain mobility during events, orientations, and operational support periods
