Description
Students interested in the restaurant/hospitality industry will gain valuable, hands on experience in all aspects of restaurant/hospitality management in a high volume, fast-casual restaurant working 35-45 hours per week. During your 14-week internship you will learn and work in following areas: Smoking ribs, chicken, barbeque and wings on the pit, kitchen operations & food prep, inventory management, customer relations, accounting, scheduling and deployment of employees, the interviewing and hiring process, front and back of house operations, marketing through social media, and health department rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Full-time student interested in the hospitality and restaurant industry and enrolled in culinary arts, hospitality management or restaurant management. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and to understand processes and procedures. Willing to work with team members to insure the quality of food and customer service is second to none. Must be comfortable using food service equipment and be friendly and accommodating to our guests. This will be a fun way to learn how a successful business operates and to apply what you are learning in your degree program to real life experiences.
