Description
The Systems Administrator Intern's role is to provide phone and remote technical support to our staff. More importantly, we are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, highly customer focused, patient, an effective communicator, self-initiating, has a positive attitude, and can prioritize and execute tasks without micro-management. The role will involve basic desktop and systems administration support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating and managing Service Requests
- Answering Inbound Service Calls
- Administration of the Service Requests
- Dispatched according to policy
- Follow through to resolution of support requests * Basic Troubleshooting, Administration and Support of Windows-based systems and supporting hardware and software
- Virus Remediation
- Computer imaging/build-outs
- MFP/Scanner/Fax troubleshooting
- WiFi/Network Connectivity troubleshooting
- Customer-facing POS systems day to day operations and troubleshooting
- Process and procedure documentation
- Any other task or duty as assigned or required

Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a continuing education/college program
- Customer Service experience
- Inbound call experience
- Demonstrates effective time management and organization skills
- Proven verbal communication skills
- Attention to details
- Ability to prioritize
- A+ Certified, or willing to achieve
- Net+ Certified, or willing to achieve
- Some experience in the following is helpful: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Microsoft Server 2012+, Microsoft
Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite and Networking/Switching hardware
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business which will require some evenings, weekends and holidays
